Another minority voice

Here is a flyer sent by another dissatisfied minority owner (not me!). I think this might be the last one for a while...

  1. Minority should just be quiet and eat the humble pie. Let them say what they want. Let them do what they want. There is no need to answer to all this as there will have no end to it. Instead, save your energy to fight your up coming battle before you make a fool of yourself. This is my advice because I am on your side - minority.

  2. The minority is not one big cohesive group, though I wish we were, and individuals like the unknown author of the flyer above, act on their own accord. People are entitled to voice their anger when they are losing their home in this manner, so long as it remains civil. If you are on the side of the minority, I hope you will show your support not by being a quiet bystander (which is all but useless) but by joining in the opposition and taking this to the STB.

This blog has not been advertised in the estate, how many read it I do not know. Perhaps my identity can be guessed at by some, as for making a fool of myself - I fail to see how and honestly, do I care? So long as what I say is the truth, then there is nothing to be embarrassed about.

  3. One interesting question about the Tampines Court EnBloc is the reserve price.

If the reserve price of $705K per unit was set in 2005 (15 months back), what should be the new reserve price which is acceptable to both Majority and Minority Groups?

If we use the 705K as baseline, then:

    1. 5% increase from 2005, the new reserve price should be 740K per unit.

    2. 10% increase from 2005, the new reserve price should be 775K per unit.
