Just Wait

Just wait; Tampines Court will follow because space and size are what matters most. As larger units become scarcer and scarcer, our value will increase - regardless of the fact we are 99yr leasehold. We will attract more permanent residents, more HDB upgraders who are looking for space for their growing families. The demographics of the estate will change and hopefully all the whingers and complainers will be replaced by positive owners, keen to make our shared property a nice place to come home to.

  1. Agreed! TC price per unit can go up further!
The new international schools are in Tampines region. Two more MRT stations are scheduled in Tampines, and they are going to be just 3 to 4 bus stops away. Buyers and Developers will want to buy TC cheap now, then launch their sales or rent it out with these plus points and get more $$$$!
Foreigners love the large units we have.
When you want to market this place you have to sell UP, not down. You have to say what a fantastic location we have here in TC and indeed it is!!!

  2. AGM 12% SPs bothered to attend.
MC tried to get approval for various project - spend money without success.
One SP wrote a personal attack on another SP.
Guess this SP is not from SIN and likely from a country which have low tolerance and lack respect of views of others.
Will TC follow the famous Everitt Road saga.
Some have stayed and many had moved.
The AGM attendance of 12% is a clear indicator that it is time to move out of this estate and a successful enbloc will always pay a higher price than an individual sale.
There will be dreamers that will expect a price higher than what is set. There will also be those who are afraid of trying to fit into a new estate.
Just as we have husband or wife who stay in dead end marriage.....
Should this attempt fail I can see TC have a majority of tenanted units as opposed to SP occupied.
It is time to consider another en-bloc..........

  3. In retrospect it was a somewhat under-the-belt post towards a specific SP on my part -and I usually prefer to be general. It was brought about by my anger at hearing how new owners are warned off talking to me or hearing about this blog. Keeping people in the dark is not a good start.

But i regret targeting him as he is a gentle soul and I think can get hurt easily. Another reason why he should not enter the arena but don't worry, it won't degenerate into Everitt road or even Laguna park.

    I will remove the post

  4. Of course Tampines Court is much more than its current value which is less than $500psf. I think the residents here are simply happy with the way things are. That is probably the reason that they do not vote for these additional stuff that cost money. I feel the same. I am already enjoying the spaciousness of my home, why do I need to get out of my house to do things. Moreover I do want to be burden with high monthly maint.
