The EGM for the constitution of the Sale Committee was held on 29 Jan 2011.
We were promised transcripts of the first EGM by the managing agent both at the meeting proper and by way of letter - but none has appeared. We haven't even seen the regular minutes which should have been put up by the first of March.
I agree. Why the delay?
ReplyDeleteperhaps they have decided to stop the enbloc at the first meeting....hmmm... even that, they should annouce such info.
ReplyDeleteThe secretary elected at the meeting has a full time job...so which one would take priority ?
ReplyDelete(Please see comments in Post 'SC Meeting')
ReplyDeleteIt was commented on 27 Feb by resident attended the meeting that the SC was very professional esp the vice chairman and Mins would be posted on the board.
Appreciate if the resident could provide updates of SC meeting.
I don't think SC will visit this blog as this is not the official TC site. Why don't approach them direct & enquire about the latest status.
ReplyDeleteElse just wait lor until they visit here. No point complaining.
There is no official TC site. There are only 2 active TC sites on the web - both are mine.
ReplyDelete1) this site which I started in 2007 - a purely personal endeavor which has garnered quite a wide viewership, surprisingly.
2) the TC e-newsletter/Notice Board which is just an e-version of what goes up on the Notice Boards in the estate on an ad hoc basis. No personal opinions (mine included) or comments allowed because it is NOT run by the managing agent. I do not link it to this site as that would be improper.
I would love the SC to open up a new website, but they would need to appoint one member to man the decks and add information on a regular basis. It would HAVE to be open to comment and criticism, like this blog.
I started from scratch with zero know-how - there is no reason why they can't either.
It is for them to inform the owners of events /outcomes in a timely manner and not for owners to go looking for them or to approach them directly.
We all have their home addresses (but not email) but it would be unthinkable to go knocking on their doors to ask for information. Even SC members must be accorded their privacy - and owners broaching the home ground is a definite no-no.
They need to establish some form of communication channel - silence is not golden.
i think this enbloc journey is losing steam
