A Minority Owner's chronicled journey through 3 Collective Sale attempts; the last one being successful. TC was a 560 ex-HUDC estate with a thriving community spirit (up until the enblocs that is). I have moved on to a new, 37 unit Freehold estate. Life is quiet now with zero community feeling.
Last round at 1.8mil I didn't sign. What makes u think I will sign now!!! And u even have the audacity to come to my place and talk to my Mother!!! Get off our property!!!!
Obviously, first part directed at SC/MA; writer disapproves with their RP. Secondly, at Huttons sales team. He's quite perturbed by their sales tactics towards Mum. This comment more fitting sent to TC Enbloc FB, but it's in deep sleep. Can't fault him.
SC/MA increased RP by $200,000 trying to get 80% before 24 June deadline. As usual, SC/MA never tell us how they derived this $200,000 ? Why not $300,000 or $400,000 ?
How right you are! RLV workings would be most illuminating. SC/MA are duty-bound to be open and transparent to all. Making RLV available on request to all interested SPs will accord our team with renewed respect and credibility. Besides inspiring confidence, it would assure all, the propriety accorded to this collective sale.
Their RLV would have to be very similar to my own given to them 1 YEAR AGO - I think they should hang their heads in shame and quietly leave the stage. Had they started out with the correct RLV from the outset- instead of taking the MAs word for a quick sale - they wold have had their 80% in 6 months. Better now to wit for round 4 whereby the STARTING RP will be at a figure most SPs can stomach.
I remember a comment about your figure as "too rich" Looks like Decision Maker (top honcho?) from local Developer is the same guy with vested interest in Tampines Court advising our SC/MA your value "too big to swallow".
We now know Huttons RLV it "too minuscule", SC's proposal "too timid" and yours just plain "fair and decent"
Care to share with us who's the 'Decision Maker from Local Developer' SC? Don't want to get it wrong twice...for round 4.
Our SC have never had the courage of their conviction to do the right thing. Showed no moral courage to act decisively in Conflict of Interest in selection process. Found seriously wanting in their Duty of Transparency to SPs. Keeping SPs in the dark is their favourite pastime. They have a penchant of saying things that they don't believe in; making promises that they cannot honour.
After all that's been unmasked these past year, you still trust SC/MA put our interest foremost? Unbelievable!

They have increased the RP to 1.XXm. Not sure what are they trying to do
ReplyDelete(slight edit from itshometome)
They are trying to extract more $$$ to all the residents in TC.
ReplyDeleteYou Wish!
