Blogger's prediction:
- The Sale Order will be given on 2 Jan 2018
- The Completion Date* sometime before 2 April 2018
- The Last Moving Out date: 6 months from Completion date so 2 Oct 2018
* Completion Date could be sooner as machinations are going on concurrently to the STB ( I presume they are not just sitting on their hands).
UPDATE : 2 Jan 2018
Sales Order has been issued by the STB. So we shall have to start house-hunting in earnest. I suspect those who could would have bought their replacement unit already, the more cautious might buy over the next few months and those who don't move with the herd will wait until Completion Date when it is 100% confirmed.
I, for one will wait, because things can still take an unexpected turn without the all clear on the Developer Front.

DeleteThere are hurdles only the developer has to pass - we do not know where they are in the behind-the-scenes- process.
I am also interested in the order by which things get deducted from the Sales Proceeds.
No need her prediction. It is obvious that they won't object to HC. At most delayed another 21 days. I guess CNY is near & they know they have no chance that's why they give up. I don't appreciate blogger as u guys do. Right from the beginning she was an anti-enblocer and also already said she support objectors. She decide to switch camp because she also knows the wind is blowing in opp direction. I feel sorry for her new neighbours in the estate she is going to stay which has enbloc potential.

BUT SL cannot exercise this clause are two totally different things.

MA shall release SALE ORDER n tell SP outstanding issues,LUP ,LTA etc.

The goal now is simple and everyone is on board this ship. Get the deal done asap and SPs all properly advised by the MA and Legal so that taking over is professionally and smoothly completed!
This blog may give wrong advice to SPs. Suggest close this blog for good and all SPs should get proper advice from proper channels - our MA and Lawyer who are paid to do a job. In the meantime let's be patient & wait for the timeline to be announced.

DeleteSale order is given and IRAS already give deadline for SSD payment for those affected. I don’t think talking to the bank about settling one loan when you need another loan is a good idea.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to those in finding the money, who knows how long it will be before the sales proceeds come through to pay it back. As Eldan Law says, don’t trip up over this tiny 200k stone while climbing over the mountain. If only 200k was small change to everyone!
What happens at this stage if people don’t pay or can’t afford to pay? According to IRAS it is the buyers responsibility to make sure the seller pays.
