A Minority Owner's chronicled journey through 3 Collective Sale attempts; the last one being successful. TC was a 560 ex-HUDC estate with a thriving community spirit (up until the enblocs that is). I have moved on to a new, 37 unit Freehold estate. Life is quiet now with zero community feeling.
Thks for the update. We have gone that far (a really uphill task). Hope everyone in TC will put aside our differences & work together to get this round through, though we do respect individual's decision.
life is not a "thing". It is a "flow", like water in a stream. A thing cant move and has no story. what is your story? to stay here in TC and die? once we die there will be plenty of opportunity to stay still, rest assured.
with these odds and opportunity, look on the positive side. your blog doesnt change anyones mind, but seeing what you have been writing show a lot of negativity and suspicion like everyone is against you, which doesnt do you good. of course it is none of my business and i dont know nor care about you. but just to let you know.
It looks like heaven's will to en bloc TC, see violent reversal from no hoper to spate of unexpected recent strong land bidding that helps push up signing percent to make it just in time.
Let's move forward along tide instead of fight back tide.
Either we are all millionaire or stay put in the asset & lease depreciating no condo facilities TC. The choice is clear ! Let's all support enbloc & be a winner !
When was time when coffee was just 60 cent? Got money dropped from sky better grab.
You may be comfortable financially now, but world is progressing faster n more competitiv , worst if hit with money draining illness , don't regret then you did not support en bloc !
The only constant in life is change and how you adapt to change

ReplyDeleteIt can be easier and more comfortable to look backward.
ReplyDeleteAnd to many people, the past that we know is less scary than the future that we don't know.
He who doesn't look ahead remain behind.
Memories take us back, dreams take us toward.
One reason people resist change is
ReplyDeleteBecause they focus on what they have to give up, not what they have to gain.
